Terms and Conditions: The participant acknowledges and takes full responsibility for the participants’s life and well-being, as well as the lives and well-being of the participant’s family and children (where applicable), and all decisions made during and after this program. The participant expressly assumes the risks of the Program. The participants releases the Yoga Teachers, and Maitri Yoga School, from any and all liability, damages, causes of action, allegations, suits, sums of money, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, which the paticipant ever had, now has or will have in the future against the Yoga Teacher, and Maitri Yoga School, arising from the participants past or future participation in, or otherwise with respect to, the Program, unless arising from the gross negligence of the Yoga Teacher, and Maitri Yoga School. Participant understands that the Yoga Teacher, Maitri Yoga School does not diagnose illness, disease, or any other physical or mental disorder; does not prescribe medical or pharmaceutical treatment and does not do spinal manipulations. Participants has stated all known medical conditions and medications/drugs/supplements taken, and takes responsibility to update Yoga Teacher, and Maitri Yoga on my current state of health on all subsequent visits. The participant confirms that he/she has no physical conditions or medical precautions that would adversely affect his/her ability to take part in the yoga program or other physical or cultural activities offered. The participant fully understands that his/her participation in the yoga program or other activities could be injurious to his/her health. The participant voluntarily assumes all risks related to such activities and releases Maitri Yoga from liability for accident , personal injury, illness, emotional damage, incurred travel expenses or property damage he/she may incur as a result of his/her going on this retreat. Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made at least 60 days in advance, all monies received from the participant will be refunded less the booking deposit. No credit or refund is available for cancellations made within 30 days of the start of training, or if the participant does not show up, or leaves early for any reason. Assumption of Risk: Michael Kohan, Sandy Marotta and Maitri Yoga School are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all participants; however participants must assume the risk inherent in travel including those from weather, wildlife or other force majeure.
